I used to like Halloween when I was a kid - then the adults got involved and now it's no fun.
I don't recall adults having Halloween parties where everyone got drunk and dressed up in slutty clothes.
My very favorite "treat" was the shiny Winesap apples the grocer next to our house handed out. He polished each one with a cloth until they gleamed. You can't even buy a Winesap apple any more.
I'm going to order a Winesap apple tree. In a few years I will have all the apples I want.
That face terrifies the children...you need a warning when you post it on your blog.
ReplyDeleteYou're right. I'll update it.
ReplyDeleteThis is a family centric blog...after all.
ReplyDeleteThat's true. We have to protect the kids.

ReplyDeleteI don't either. Maybe that started in the '90s? (I was in England) Get that tree!
Happy All Saints.
