Hope And Change

Hide That Paten

No clowns, no gender fluid priestesses, no goofy liturgical dancers, no progleft comsymp tomfoolery masquerading as Christianity, just the Gospel, the Faith once delivered and the our best shot at unleashing the power of the Western Rite.

Don't be a Hippy or a Witch, Kids

That's the St. Michael's Conference Southwest, and the kids love it, a lot. It's a privilege to staff it for a week.

God bless,

There's a Peacock by the Woodpile

This small farming community managed, somehow, to survive last night's storm, and so did the neighbor's peacocks.

Last Night's Sheet Lightning

One of them was over by the woodpile when I got back from some church work this morning. It's one of two and perhaps before too long there'll be a serious peacock operation here. Lord knows, the town could use a growth industry.

Hope 'n Change didn't seem to make that happen and the Government's wondering why people aren't too happy about that.

I mean to say, what's wrong with you? You may not have any money and there's no real jobs to speak of, but you can get a gay marriage and a sex-change while shopping at Target.

C'mon, everybody, lighten up,

Hey, Move to Detroit!

come on, move to Detroit!

Last time we checked into Detroit my old friend Red had been putting rounds down range in the local crack house on Commonwealth. He got off, no harm no foul sort of deal. But things have escalated. The onetime Motorcity is now bankrupt and fixin' to become a city of ghosts.

Not to worry. Detroit is so totally a "one off" and the unicorn will come and save you! With all the helpful money its borrowed, or invented, or stolen somehow.

In the meanwhile, America's "middle class" rates 27th in the world, apparently, and our cities are off the hook urban hellholes doing just fine.

Good luck, hope 'n change,
