Minimum Wage?

ZeroHedge takes a dim view of raising the minimum wage to $15 and thinks it'll make everyone poorer by causing unemployment and inflation. Socialists think it'll make more people richer by giving the poor a bigger slice of the fiscal pie. What do I think, you ask with bated breath.

That people should be paid a just wage in return for their work, especially the clergy. But why stop with a minimum wage and a progressive income tax. Why not empower the dictatorship of the proletariat Government, which is your Friend, to give everyone the same amount of money? That'd be fair, right?

Come to think of it, why not abolish private property and build some reeducation camps for the kulaks, you know, all the ones you haven't shot yet.

And before you come up with the tired old lame excuse that there isn't enough money, remember, the State can print as much of that as it likes.

Red Islamic Terror

Maybe you're wondering why millionaire socialist, Jeh Johnson, who happens to be head of Homeland Security, is unable to call out Islamic terrorism. 

Here's some background, via LL:

(Investors Business Daily) While speaking to Muslims last week, Homeland Security chief Jeh Johnson revealed why he's so protective of them. He compared growing suspicions cast on them to the plight of his communist kin.

Johnson dropped the bombshell that his grandfather had been investigated for communism and un-American activities.

We can't say we're surprised. Add him to the parade of Red diaper babies in the Cabinet, including top White House advisor Valerie Jarrett, former political advisor David Axelrod and President Obama himself. 

No wonder this administration isn't interested in monitoring radical Muslims for terrorist connections.

And here's the thing. If there was a Communist 5th column in the U.S., and there was, that was intent on turning America into a godless workers paradise, replete with gulags, then what was wrong with prosecuting them?

Maybe that doesn't sound very tolerant, or liberal to you. Well go and tell that to one of Stalin's kulaks. Likewise, go ask the victims of San Bernardino if they think Islam is a religion of peace.

Yale. A Whining Lib Playpen

Yale University is in an uproar, all because a faculty member, Erika Christakis, suggested that students "look away" if they see someone wearing a Halloween costume they find offensive. To make matters worse, Christakis' husband, the Master of Silliman, refused to apologize to a howling mob of swearing students.

The appropriately named Silliman was no longer a "safe place," a "place of comfort" and a "home," asserted one whining young woman, who then proceeded to swear at the unfortunate teacher and called for his resignation.

No longer a safe place of comfort, really? The Atlantic describes the dangerous living conditions at Silliman. It's a veritable centrally heated Gulag, replete with "two Steinway grand pianos, an indoor basketball court, a courtyard with hammocks and picnic tables, a computer lab, a dance studio, a gym, a movie theater, a film-editing lab, billiard tables, an art gallery, and four music practice rooms."

The Curiously Named Silliman College

That's right, it's a hard life in the hallowed halls of academe, leading one student to state, "This email (Christakis') and the subsequent reaction to it have interrupted their lives. I have friends who are not going to class, who are not doing their homework, who are losing sleep, who are skipping meals, and who are having breakdowns.” 

Yale used to be known as a school and, unlike Satan's Vatican, Harvard, a good one at that. But not anymore. Now it's become a playpen for whining lib elite Pink Stasi children, who are so filled with a sense of entitlement, self-importance and privilege that they can't bear to have their precious feelings hurt.

Go home and cuddle with teddy bears in your comfy safe space, then return to school once you've reached the level of maturity expected in, say, a normal 8 year old. And maybe that day won't come, in which case you can stay home in your pathetic whine space, wondering why the world doesn't care.
