You're Goin' Down

Jail for you, boyo

Wow. Douglass Mackey was sentenced to 7 months prison time yesterday by United States District Judge Ann M. Donnelly. Why? Because he had the sheer, brazen, literal temerity to post a "meme" mocking Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election. Yes, that's exactly what he did and now he's suitably punished, with jail. Here's the so-called "meme," risible and racist as it is:

Kristina Wong didn't go to hideously ugly jail because she supported Hillary and was against evil Russian spy Nazi Donald Trump. That's why she posted her awesome meme with impunity. Here, have a look:

Someone once said, "This'd be a banana republic if it was a republic." In the meanwhile, we lurch towards rainbow corporate Armageddon in the hope our beloved rulers will become even richer than they already are.

Speaking of which, which blazer patch do you prefer, Lockheed, Martin or Raytheon?

Regardless, it was her turn,

Hitler's Voice In Private

note slack Sam Browne

This, as far as I know, is the only recording of Der Fuhrer's conversational voice. Hitler's speaking with Baron Carl Gustaf Emil Mannerheim, famed Finnish military leader and inveterate enemy of the Red Bolshevik menace. Here's the recording:

I won't comment except to say haunting and salutary. History, they tell us, doesn't repeat but it most certainly does rhyme.

In related news, Russia's apparently churning out tanks and associated munitions after an hiatus of several decades. We, on the other hand, are gleefully indicting 45 who was, let the record show, a Russian spy in the pay of the Kremlin. A veritable GRU agent, so let's hear it, DC and Georgia, you defenders of our great constitutional so totally not a banana republic.

That said, those dam Kremlins get everywhere and how dare they persist in an industrial proxy war with their own local means of production? You know, like actual tank factories and steel mills situated in their own country. Do they not have the sense to off-shore for profit and best burgeoning bank accounts, sorry, Blackrock Larry Fink Benefit all 'round? Apparently not.

Here We Go Now

Here we go now, looks like President Trump's been indicted.

Does that make him the undisputed warlord of Manhattan?

More seriously, will it, they/them be brought to justice? Don't hold your breath.

Shakedown Street - State of the Republic

What are we, a constitutional republic, or something else, a banana republic nation run by a gang of self-serving, millionaire thieves? Like hey, go ahead and vote and then we'll shake you down.

Have you noticed how hundreds of thousands of votes miraculously appeared for the worst presidential candidate in living memory after polling stations closed? Forgive the rhetoric, of course you have. Wow, what a miracle. Biden, who couldn't draw crowds of more than 12 people suddenly becomes the most popular candidate in history.

We knew it would happen, the Bolsheviks and their corporate paymasters even advertised it, but when you behold the shakedown unfolding in real time it's like a gut punch.

Why did we send kids out to Iraq and everywhere else to supposedly fight for freedom and democracy only to have a fraudulent, thieving, spit in your face crew of crooks steal our vote?

My eldest called in from Korea last night and asked, "These people are writing my checks, it makes me feel sick." I told him, "You're serving the real America," and, "Salute the flag, not the man behind it." He got that. As LL puts it, don't desert your shield.

Roger Stone Arrested

In a daring predawn raid against a 66 year old man, heavily armed FBI agents arrested Roger Stone in the latest phase of Mueller's ongoing  Russian collusion investigation.

Following his release on bail, Stone made the following statement:

This morning at the crack of dawn, 29 F.B.I. agents arrived at my home with 17 vehicles with their lights flashing, when they could simply have contacted my attorneys and I would have been more than willing to surrender voluntarily.
They terrorized my wife, my dogs. I was taken to the F.B.I. facility, although I must say the F.B.I. agents were extraordinarily courteous. I will plead not guilty to these charges. I will defeat them in court. I believe this is a politically motivated investigation.
I am troubled by the political motivations of the prosecutors, and as I have said previously, there is no circumstance whatsoever under which I will bear false witness against the president nor will I make up lies to ease the pressure on myself. I look forward to being fully and completely vindicated.

Stone's been indicted on 7 charges, including obstruction of justice and making false statements. He has not been charged with colluding with the Kremlin or "trafficking" materials to a "hostile foreign power."

In other words, Mueller's investigation has yet again failed to produce any evidence whatsoever of Russian collusion, despite two years worth of trying and millions of dollars spent in the effort. But it has, yet again, persecuted someone in the process of the investigation itself.

And it's a very real persecution, dawn raid Stasi style, to say nothing of the bankrupting cost of defending yourself against the Deep State machine. Stone fears, understandably, that he might find himself at the bottom of the American gulag archipelago.

In the meanwhile, the actors behind Uranium One, fraudulent FISA warrants, disappearing Strozk/Page texts, Fusion GPS, bleachbit, Benghazi, missing emails by the thousand, smashing Blackberries and on, go unpunished.

Comey, Clapper, Brennan, McCabe, the Podestas, Hillary and the rest of the crew are all at liberty. No 6 am knock on the door for them.

So what are we, some kind of banana republic?

You be the judge,

The Genius of Donna Brazile

How did DNC chairwoman, Donna Brazile, get town hall debate questions from CNN ahead of time? Good question, Megynne Kelly, let's see how Donna explains it, in her own words:

"As a Christian woman, I understand persecution. Your information is false. What you're -- well, for suggestive e-mails were stolen. You're interested and you're like a thief that wants to bring into the night the things that."

Got that? Then, just to hammer her point home, Donna finished off the segment by telling Megynne:

"Go to Russia."

Now we know. Megynne Kelly is a Russian saboteur in the service of the Red Spymaster, Julian Assange, attempting to destroy and persecute the gospel Christian citizenry of the Democratic National Committee.

Well there's genius, and there's genius. But Megynne Kelly, a saboteur? That's a different story.

Corrupt As The Day Is Long

According to Washington D.C. attorney Joe DiGenova, more FBI agents will be talking about the problems at bureau and specifically the handling of the Clinton case by Comey when Congress comes back into session and decides to force them to testify by subpoena.
DiGenova told WMAL radio’s Drive at Five last week, “People are starting to talk. They’re calling their former friends outside the bureau asking for help. We were asked to day to provide legal representation to people inside the bureau and agreed to do so and to former agents who want to come forward and talk. Comey thought this was going to go away.”
He explained, “It’s not. People inside the bureau are furious. They are embarrassed. They feel like they are being led by a hack but more than that that they think he’s a crook. They think he’s fundamentally dishonest. They have no confidence in him. The bureau inside right now is a mess.”
He added, “The most important thing of all is that the agents have decided that they are going to talk.”

And if you're in the mood for more corrupt elitocracy, you can watch part 2 of the Project Veritas expose here.

UK correspondents are saying that they're unable to access the National Enquirer Hillary sex scandal story. Looks as though the Sceptered Isle doesn't want its subjects debt serf peasants to read bad things about their new Queen, Hillary.

Crooked Democrats Rigging The Election, Veritas Video

In a normal world I'd like to report on Patriarch Kirill being presented with an adorable Corgi pup in London, and the renaissance of Christianity in Russia after 70 years of harsh Communist oppression. But we don't live in a normal world, so I'm reposting, via LL, O'Keefe's Democratic Party incitement to violence expose.

See LL for short commentary. Here's a snapshot:

If it had been Republicans doing this, the Department of Justice/FBI would have been all over it. Indictments would have been handed down, the outrage from the left would have been dripping from every media outlet. It only underscores the corrupt system that we live under and the tolerance that the progressives have for felonious misconduct when it is perpetrated by their own.

O'Keefe's slot on Fox News was pulled. Watch the video before it's banned.

The Sun Sets on The Rule of Law

I'm no expert, but people say that the Law can be pretty opaque at times. For example, how do you work out the Law of Bass (LOB) on the Big Pond when the temperature climbs into triple digits? Team LSP's been putting some effort into that lately and we haven't cracked the Codex yet, but we will, it's not over yet. Then there's the FBI and Hillary. Here's what our East Coast Legal Expert (ECLE) has to say:

The aspect of this whole mess that really gets my goat is that every first year law student is taught about mens rea (intent) for criminal law and the difference in laws between crimes requiring a specific mens rea (intentional murder, rape), lower mens rea (manslaughter - only needs reckless actions) and those that don't (strict liability crimes (ex. statutory rape, speeding, etc.). The statute in this debacle specifically calls for a "gross negligence" standard in order for the statute to be broken. Her extreme carelessness definitely qualifies to meet this standard. Comey's assertion that she didn't have intent and therefore he wasn't recommending charges is completely at odds with the law. Again, any first year law student who was given this question on an exam and didn't prosecute would fail. This is Law 101. Either Comey was bought off or he didn't want to end up like Vince Foster. Or it's just one more nail in the legal/judicial coffin that we've experienced under Obama (Supreme Court decisions uphold Obamacare, gay marriage, etc.).

Thanks, ECLE, perhaps it's a case of all of that

Have we reached the point where a rich, corrupt, ruling elite are now operating without even basic regard for the laws everyone else has to follow and feel free to blatantly disregard them? It seems that we have.

Not dissimilar, when you think about it, to predatory Bass, would be tyrants of the Big Pond.

Fish on,

Bye Bye, Republic

I think that Hillary Clinton would be well served by affiliating with James Comey in an even more official capacity by appointing him to serve as her attorney general or perhaps including him in her run for the White House as her choice for vice president. The pretense at a rule of law vanished and with it the capacity to rely on codified statutes as a guide to conduct. Now, laws change from day to day and hour to hour, so that whether you are punished or vindicated does not depend on what you do, but who you know, or how much you are able to pay.
I'd say that pretty much sums it up, and welcome to the Banana Republic.

Banana Republic?

Have we become a Banana Republic? ZeroHedge seems to think so. Here's an excerpt:
Perkins: It’s been interesting because, in the past, the economic hit man economy was being propagated in order to make America wealthier and presumably to make people here better off, but as this whole process has expanded in the U.S. and Europe, what we’ve seen is a tremendous growth in the very wealthy at the expense of everybody else.

According to the article, 62 persons own half of the entire world's assets. And how many of those support SHillary? Food for thought, eh? But I won't bang on.

Have a blessed Easter Vigil.
