Which Side Are You On?

The modern Left hates working people and's replaced that awkward class with trannies. But what am I saying, our beloved rulers have off-shored coal (climate change) and all the rest, while importing millions of cheap votes and, heigh ho, cheap wages. So very leftist rainbow. Welcome to the no-sex trans utopia.

Whatever, just behold, all ye serfs, tolerance and diversity Pritzker profit. And you know what, I'm on the side of working people and the Faith which serves them. No kidding, that's partly why I voted 45 last time over, not that we have elections anymore. So.

See you at the Club. Double-breasted blazers forever.

Happy 4th! Civil War Special

Here at the Compound we're wishing everyone a happy 4th of July, even as the Second Civil War rages around us.

Pause for a moment in your celebrations to reflect on the pain, agony and grief of the conflict as revealed in this short selection of letters from the front.

Yes, war is hell. Don't forget to raise a glass to our heroes while BBQ sizzles on the grill.

Cheers,

Independence Day

Have a happy 4th of July as you celebrate our freedom from the tyranny of England and the establishment of a "new form of government in which the people are sovereign." Are they still, or is some other force in power?

Speaking of which, since when did it become fascist to say that a nation should have borders, or to put it another way, that a nation should be a nation? From the time the left decided to buy votes with immigration? Good plan. Erode the culture you hate and despise while boosting your constituency with a massive ethnic influx.

Regardless, my plan is simple. Buy a few racks of ribs and cook them, low and slow, in honor of the Declaration of Independence. And then eat them.

Like a Sovereign,

Back in Texas -- Happy 4th of July!

I'm back in Texas now, in the countryside, and it's good to be back after the writing challenge that was the 78th General Convention of the Episcopal Church.

I managed to write a quick article at the airport, accusing the iniquitous TEC of "systemic racism," and then it was over, mission accomplished.

As I write this in depth "thought piece" a very small white chicken is pecking about in my back yard. It escaped, somehow, from its colleagues next door.

Have a great 4th of July!
