Ring Of Fire

You may have been following the Russian Collusion probe against against our President, which has so far busted Manafort for 12 year old tax skulduggery and a GIANT RAT for giving money to prostitutes.

That's appalling, you say as you reach for the smelling salts in a shocked fit of Victoriana, all the while wondering where is this Russian Collusion, where's the evidence?

But don't be dismayed, sit back, take a load off, listen to Ring of Fire and set your mind at rest.

Your Old Friend,

LSP

I was going to blog about Stormy-the-soiled-dove and about HER needs. People forget the inherent (and apparently undeniable) value that is applied to her part. But I think that you scooped me.

Zappa was an interesting musician and is sorely missed. I do believe, however, that I prefer the Cash original.

I agree, I prefer Cash to Zappa.

I was never a serious fan of Frank Zappa, though he was colorful, he was far too much of a 'hippie' for my personal tastes. Which is to say that he was a bit of dirtbag. Now, before you take me down a peg, I find many in the entertainment industry who are celebrated to be "dirtbags".

I sold two screenplays to Hollywood years ago. Neither of them was made into a movie. One started and the money was embezzled by one of the producers and it stayed in the can. While this doesn't have anything to do with a ring of fire or Stormy's celebrated "part", which could create its own ring of fire if she has a social disease, I find the entertainment industry to be every bit as tawdry as the Beltway. Which explains why Stormy spent much of her life there, servicing the great and near great.

Sorry LL, I had to do it. But what about her husband, where's his cut of the loot, dammit!

So do I, Jim. But there's something about the Zappa version that seems to fit the Probe and the slo-mo coup against the President.

LL, I felt there was something about Zappa's Ring of Fire that weirdly suited Stormy. And too bad about the screenplays, maybe the solitude and splendor of the WWM will inspire more.

I'm inclined to write one too, about a GIANT RAT and this gold digging PROSTITUTE. I'll have to channel the spirit of Tom Wolfe -- he'd have nailed this carry-on.
