Battle Dog

He fell asleep very peaceably, furry head resting on paws and I wondered, how come you're so tired? Because Blue's been moonlighting as a Hollywood extra Battle Dog.

Just watch the opening scene of Gladiator and there he is, charging through the woods with the cav, ready to take out the savage Tuetons. Sorry, Germania, you've met your match.

I don't know how much the furry aggressor's been paid for his movie parts and he's not telling.

Vocal chords are, of course, an issue.

SPQR,

He's holding himself in reserve, for when the Barbarians hit the compound.

Of course this whole war of aggression between the war-like Romans and the noble, peace-loving Germanic tribes could have been avoided if A) There was an international peace-keeping body such as the UN and B) the glorious principles of socialism had prevailed in the ancient world.

Oh, and YOKO!

And for sure, LL, it'll be a bad day for them when they do.

As it was, he fortified himself with a ham sandwich from the boy's lunch.

Perhaps that contributed to the satisfied slumber.

Infidel, I'm getting a lot of requests for YOKO.

That's not surprising. YOKO is a genius.

Ask any musician.

A doggies work is never done - and aren't we glad? My Frankie slept the sleep of the righteous after scaring the crap out of a pheasant - not just any pheasant, but a lady pheasant who was boldly crossing back and forth outside our back gate. The hussy!

As resident blog dogger...ummm ...not sure that sounds right but I'm barking up a similar tree. Grrrr...you gotta give that paws for thought, right? Tellin'tails with sWAG. Woof.

So help me DOG.

Juliette, I'm not a professional dog blogger like you but I'm eager to, errr, get my canine's into the project.

Bark.

Well done Frankie! He deserved his sleep, Adrienne.
